Take a Tour of Oxford's Picket Fences for 2010
Oxford's 2010 Picket Fence tour is winding down! The eighteen fences are throughout Town. They were painted by local artists. Pick up a map and take a tour before the end of September!

Saturday, September 25 - Oxford Library's 34th Annual Book Mart - 8 am to 2 pm
Come browse the tables jammed with a wide array of hardback, soft cover and paperback books at bargain prices. There are books for every age and interest. For more information, call 410-226-5922. Rain date is Sunday, September 26.

Saturday, October 2 - Auction of Picket Fences will be held at the Oxford Community Center from 4 to 6 pm.
Interested in purchasing a fence but cannot attend the event? Please visit our website (www.portofoxford.com) to print out a Silent Bid Proxy Sheet. Half of the profits from this event will be donated to the favorite charity of the artist whose fence raises the most money at the Auction!

Saturday, October 9 - 7:00 pm - Outdoor Movie Night at Town Park Soccer Field
Bring your blanket and/or lawn chair and enjoy a movie under the stars!

Fall 2010 - Tred Avon Players presents - "Lives Interrupted", a World War II Musical Revue, created and produced by Robyn Mendelsohn & Steve Clyburn, directed and book by Betty Dorbin, musical direction by Marcia Gilliam.

All the favorite songs from WW II woven together in a family story that mirrors the experiences all Americans shared. A must for veterans and their families, students (of all ages) and everyone who wants to re-live the moments and hear the music of the Greatest Generation. Friday and Saturday October 22, 23, 29, 30 November 5 & 6 at 8 pm; Sunday October 24, 31 & November 7 at 2 pm; Thursday November 4 at 7 pm.
